Sharon Gorman, CMC is the Founder of Certified Care Management and Care Cafe. As a Certified Care Manager and Advanced Professional with the Aging Life Care Association, she brings over 20 years of experience to the field of senior care and family advocacy. All clients served receive personalized care consultation in making health, wealth and legal decisions that impact their everyday lives.
Sharon has served as the Unit Leader for the Aging Life Care Association and a member of their Midwest Board of Directors. Sharon was the President of Aging Ahead Foundation Board, best known for the Meals on Wheels, the OATS Bus and over 20 Senior Centers. She proudly served on the Community Advisory Board and now Legacy Board for the Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Sharon has also served on many other community boards and is a founding member of the St. Louis Care Alliance, an inspired group of industry leaders in health care who work together to serve clients needs with various specialties.
Adding an adult day center was inspired by a Certified Care Management team leader, as well as clients who need options for care.
Prior to starting Certified Care Management, Sharon was the Director of one of the largest home care companies in St. Louis. In this role, she was responsible for the client experience, from start to finish. Sharon has a degree in Psychology from Indiana University and now lives in Chesterfield with her husband, Michael Gorman. Michael is a Physical Therapist and owner of iMovePT. As you can imagine, they spend a lot of time discussing the health and well-being of those they care for. Between the two of them, they have 4 children, ranging in age from 34-16 plus 2 dogs, Sunny and good canine citizen and mascot, Cooper.
